Good Influence, the specialist influencer relations division of Good Relations, was founded to reflect the rapidly changing media landscape and deliver real impact with influencer campaigns.
We believe brands must create distinctive and engaging experiences that consumers want to seek out, learn more about, and participate in themselves. As a result, bodies like the IMTB are essential – ensuring that future-facing processes and policies are in place to promote best practice and protect those working in the industry.
2022 is the year of regulatory and legislative scrutiny of the influencer marketing industry. Not just effective disclosure of creator advertising, but also issues including proper representation, pay parity, accurate advertising of crypto assets and working against greenwashing. The Influencer Marketing Trade Body is actively working with Parliament, with the Department of Digital Culture Media and Sport and with the Advertising Standards Authority to effect positive change.
We're delighted that Good Influence is now part of that conversation and we are looking forward to working alongside Scott Guthrie and the other members towards attaining enhanced levels of professionalism within our sector.
