Championing FedEx’s role as official sponsor of UEFA
Hosting an international football championship in 11 different European cities during a global pandemic is an incredible feat of logistics.
Working with our client FedEx, the Official Logistics Partner to UEFA EURO 2020, we created a social media campaign that features a Rube Goldberg machine at its core. The machine helps tell the story of this incredible undertaking.
It’s a metaphor for how FedEx is delivering the tournament – from match balls and tickets through to the iconic trophy itself.
The numbers were as astounding as the finished product – two years in the planning, the machine took a kinetic artist and engineer seven weeks to build. We ran it 55 times over a gruelling two day shoot to achieve the one final take. There is no camera trickery or visual effects – we tell this story using a completely real, analogue machine.
This highly engaging and unique campaign is our latest piece of creative work setting a new benchmark for engagement and cut-through in B2B social media.
