Indonesian telco Telkomsel was rebranding for the first time in its 25 year history. We were tasked with engaging the company’s 5,000 employees – many of whom had worked with the company since its launch – with the new brand, strategy and values so that they would be proud and active brand advocates in their interactions with customers and colleagues.
Firstly, we ran interviews, focus groups and workshops to gather employee insight which informed a targeted strategy and comms plan. We then developed a phased campaign plan and narrative and equipped Telkomsel’s leaders and employee influencers to spread the word.
Finally, we created brand launch activations around a central theme of ‘Explore More’ which encouraged employees to get to know the brand by immersing themselves in a series of brand experiences that we created.
