Driving gamers to GAME stores over competitor retailers.

When Nintendo launched their new Switch console we needed to find a way to own the conversation and get gamers in store. Our contagious idea? Launching a fashion range of course.

With our tongue firmly in our cheek and the tip of our toe teasing the catwalk we unveiled the Switch Suit – a fashion monstrosity, described by the Vogue fashion editor as ‘the most appalling insult to all precepts of good taste.

Enabling gamers to game 24/7 with the reversible ‘switch suit’

The reversible onesie allowed the wearer to instantly swap from the cosiness of their pyjamas to a ‘stylish’ lounge suit to enable them to continue gaming from the second they roll out of bed to their first meeting of the morning. Not only did we sell these in GAME but we also got a lot of people talking about them to ensure the retailer had the lion’s share of voice at launch. With bespoke monogrammed suits sent to the likes of LadBible, The Sun, Daily Mirror and Daily Star, GAME showed they understood gamers needs better than any other retailer.
