Britain’s largest bed retailer Bensons for Beds wanted employees to get behind a new way of selling beds to customers; focusing on the mind refreshing benefits of a good night’s sleep in support of product technology.
We spoke to in-store and office employees in interviews and focus groups to understand their working habits, motivations and engagement preferences and they told us that, after a period of temporary store closures during lockdown, they wanted an internal engagement campaign with a sense of fun that encouraged them to get involved.
Our Mind over mattress campaign employed teaser activations, posters, a core narrative, social media assets and an exciting in-store event.
We also created a comms toolkit to support the campaign rollout with different teams across the business.
