We run social media for Subway® in the UK and Ireland. Our mission is simple: build brand preference and drive footfall.
Our answer: build the most socially engaging brand in the category, creating an irresistible movement that people want to be part of. Our research has shown that 95% of Millennials expect brands to court them, actively. So at the heart of the social strategy we have created is the ambition to make every activity and event truly social.
Work starts in our dynamic newsroom, where we look for opportunities to create proactive campaigns as well as reactive posts. The magic then happens when we turn compelling stories into irresistibly shareable social content.
Irresistibly shareable social content
From videos and GIFs to influencer marketing and social events – we create content that’s uniquely designed for each social platform. We even have our own Instagram studio, a bespoke area for us to produce optimised photography, that was opened by Instagram themselves.
Highlights include running an annual Customer Appreciation Day, launching the new Subway® Wraps with our Wrap Name Generator and amplification of our lead sponsorship of the NFL with our SubSquad.
The results? Econometrics show we have the highest levels of marketing effectiveness in our competitive set, truly making the most socially engaging brand of its type.
